Stan’s Review of: 2012′s Best Movies
Another year came and went, as we get ready for 2013. This year was full of surprise, as some of the movies I’ve watched this year was surprisingly good. 2012 also were full of bad surprises, such as delay of GI Joe: Retaliations. But a lot of the good movies made this year tough to pick my top 5. So without further ado, let’s get to it. But first…
ReactorCon 2012: Gallery of ‘Damn, I’m stuffed’
ReactorCon 2012 kicked off on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, at Frank and Sons Collectibles. The biggest attraction for ReactorCon was the fact that it was FREE! No badge, not even wrist band, it was free entry. For first-time convention, it was decent enough event. They had respectable amount of guests, such as Jimmy Hart (who packed up just as I got there around 1PM) and Johnny Young Bosch. However, it was still a small-size event, as they had only handful of artist tables and couple of dealers present at the convention. To be fair though, this was held in a special area in Frank and Sons, where they hold guest autographs. Considering that, you can’t expect too much from this. However, it did just enough to pique the curiosity of by-passers around the area, so hopefully the second year will be much better. One request I do want to make, and hopefully this does happen next year: Get out of Frank and Sons. It may have worked for the first year, but I’ll be damned if I have to spend 20 minutes finding parking spot year after year.

NYCC 2012 Transformers Panel News

As New York Comic-Con rolls on, we get news from the Transformers panel earlier in the day, showcasing some new and exiting stuff coming for 2013:
In an attempt to Get money away from kids milk the franchise more garner more interest for Season 3 of the show, Transformers Prime becomes Transformers Prime Beast Hunters this coming spring. Team Prime must combat not only the forces of Megatron and the Decepticons, but to face Predaking and the Predacons. Here’s the break down currently of said wave:

Just…unbelievable event this has been. So many good experiences and celebrities we’ve met, including Daniel Bryan/Bryan Danielson/Lloyd Boner (Cabana podcast joke right there). Thank you, Comic-Con! Hopefully we’ll be there again next year.
Anime Expo 2012: Gallery of VROOOOOOM
This year’s Anime Expo was more or less ‘controversial’, because it was held at same time as X-Game. This was also the year I only attended Saturday and Sunday, because I had work on Friday and Monday. Regardless, I can safely say I was there and I took some pictures.
(Although, I must say, I was a bit disappointed because I thought I would be close to vert ramp competition. But instead, I got rally drift racing. Bummer.)

Fanime 2012: Gallery of Shenanigans
I wish I could’ve taken more pics, but it’s a bit tough to do when you’re trying to juggle between cosplaying and taking pics. Still, I managed to capture many things I encountered during this con. Hell, I might as well share them before they go bad.
