Another year came and went, as we get ready for BEGINNING OF THE END OF THE WORLD 2012. This year’s movie scene was mostly memorable for tons of comic-book related movies, as well as one movie I didn’t fucking want to see after getting burned last year (Transformers: Dark of the Moon). I feel compelled to do this for reasons, so I am putting up TOP 5 movies of 2011. But first…
November 13th 2011 – Tsuyoshi Nonaka is mecha designer that’s mostly famous for his work in Mazinkaiser SKL, Shin Mazinger Z Shougeki Z-Hen, and mecha designs in Super Sentai series. Currently, he’s working on suit designs for Power Rangers Samurai. In this panel, he shows off some of his designs and his process of re-imagining Mazinger.
November 11th 2011 – George Takei, Paul Nakauchi, Jay Kuo, and Lorenzo Thione were at Pacific Media Expo 2011 to promote their upcoming musical, ‘The Allegiance’. In the press Q & A, they discuss how the musical impacted Japanese community and many more.
