Plastic Joint once again brings you the best coverage of San Diego Comic-Con. With much controversy surrounding the line, this Mattel branded panel will no doubt answer a lot of burning questions DC comics fans have been asking for.
they begin the panel with technical difficulties. So the panelist took terns telling us about their favorite time working on the DC Brands. They still going through the difficulties, so to eat up more time, they gave the audience a T-Shirt and a brand spanking new toy from the Batman Power Attack line. Still facing difficulties, they went to the fans for a Q and A. I got to ask about why such ridiculous things where done for this new Batman line, they simply said they felt that Batman in his years has been proven well enough to handle such weird concepts.
it was soon after they began the panel. They quickly went through through the Batman Dark Knight Rises figures. They announced a new TRU 3-Pack: Movie Masters Dark Knight Trilogy 3-pack. It will have Batman in his Batman Begins suit, The Dark Knight suit and a Mask-less Dark Knight Rises suit. The mask-less head spots a new mold and a few gray hairs like he has in the movie.
With the end of DC Universe Classics with whats called the Final Mix: Superman, Batman, Red Robin and Superboy Prime, they announced a new line: DC Universe Unlimited. The figures will spans everything from Comics, games and more. They also announced the end of Batman Legacy and Announced Batman Unlimited, following the same structure.
The first wave of DCUU is consistent of New 52 Superman, New 52 Hawkman and New 52 Flash. Batman Unlimited will be consistent of New 52 Batman, New 52 Batgirl and classic Penguin. They also announced figures in DCUU line based on the fighting game Injustice: Gods amongst us of Batman and Superman.
They went into more detail of the Power Attack Batman line and announcing 2 new figures: A Joker with a explosive Jack-in-a-box and Bane with an articulated mouth.

before the panel ended, a person in the room asked what a weird beeping in the room was coming from and one of the presenters takes out the Bat Phone and gets a call from none other then Batman himself with an announcement of the 60′s TV show Styled Batman line. No figures have been announced yet, but they did announce that it will be in Movie Masters scale.
