Review: Transformers Animated Jetstorm and Jetfire Part 1

(NOTE: Due to the amount of things to cover , this will be 2 parts review)

Say hello to the newest members of the Elite Guard! Jetfire and Jetstorm are one of the latest line of Transformers: Animated figures. They are the result of Autobot experiment which gave birth to the first aerial Autobots in Animated universe history. The twin brothers come with surprise, as they can combine into singular bot known as Safeguard. Now, you can enjoy these two rascals in their separate deluxe form or combine them for one Autobot.

Review: SH Figuarts Kamen Rider 2 (Next ver.)

Hayato Ichimonji first appeared as Kamenr Rider Nigo (2nd) in the first-ever Kamen Rider TV show in 1971. Alongside Takeshi Hongo (who later became Segata Sanshiro), he fought against evil organization known as SHOCKER. 34 years later, the re-incarnation of Kamen Rider 2 appeared in a movie re-telling of first Kamen Rider known as Kamen Rider The First in which Ichimonji fought against Shocker with Kamen Rider 1. Ichimonji returned in Kamen Rider The Next, where he once again battled Shocker in hope that his appearance would make this mediocre movie slightly better. After the release of The Next, Bandai released their first wave of SH Figuarts. One of them of course, was Kamen Rider 2.

Review: Transformers Animated Jazz

By Stan

‘Right now, we need to stop fighting each other and start fighting the bad guy. Dig?’

In honor of 44th President Barack Obama’s inauguration, I decided to do a review in what seems to be a rather predictable move. Jazz (or Autobot Jazz) is well known for his cool personality even when under pressure. In Animated, Jazz is a member of the Elite Guard who uses nunchucks to fight. Unlike The Tick Sentinel Prime, Jazz is calm and composed. Throughout the Transformers chronicles, Jazz has always been one of fan-favorite and that’s no exception in Animated series. Hasbro took notice and brought us Jazz in deluxe form.

Review: Transformers Animated Swindle

“So, do we have a deal or what?”

An intergalactic arms dealer to the core, Swindle could care less about Autobots or Decepticons as long as he gains profit from his sales. The lord of war became animated recently (SUV: Society of Ultimate Villainy) as he created EMP weapon and attempted to sell it to Megatron. Voiced by legendary Fred Willard and sporting bolo tie, Swindle comes knocking on your wallet in his deluxe figure form.

Review: Transformers Universe Cyclonus

Cyclonus appeared first in Transformers: Movie, where he was created from many parts of deactivated Decepticons and powered by Stan Bush’s voice. His purpose was to serve Galvatron and from that point on, those two would have great adventures attacking Ultra Magnus and his Autobots. Now, the old rabbit-ear is back in his Universe version glory, and you can add this loyal soldier and his gun to your collection.

Review: Transformers Animated Blurr

‘First of all, the name’s not “Zippy”! As a matter of fact, I don’t believe I’ve ever met another bot named Zippy, so one can only assume that you came up with “Zippy” in reference to my speed, which may be technically accurate, but lacks a certain creativity!’

Blurr, the fastest Autobot in the universe, returns in Transformers Animated as part of the Elite Guard’s intelligence division. Zippy Blurr was seen in last episode of season 2 battling seekers (Bridge too Close II), where he was sucked into vortex which sent him and seekers to unknown location. Always the fan-favorite, even though he won’t shut the
fuck up, Blurr joins his Autobot comrades in action figure form.

Review: Transformers Universe Hound

The Atuobot Scout who loved humans, Hound has been one of those characters that’s been well-respected within TF community but he never got the mainstream love as much as other characters *coughBumbleBeecough*. It’s been a while Hound got an action figure since Alternators, now Hound is back in Universe form…. and he brought a friend with him.
